How to Make a Tea Party Table for under $50

Well…the biggest secret to this table is that Santa and his elves made it and left it under the tree for our little Gemma ; )

If I am correct he started off this project by hitting up Lowes and purchasing a pine wood table top measuring 28″ round (ready to prime or paint). Along with the table top Santa added some Wood legs and liquid nails to his cart.

The legs they sell at Lowes are slightly too tall for the table, probably best as a side table height…but with a little elf magic (cutting about 2 inches off) the table can be perfect for playtime. Repeat this step to all 3 legs making sure each is cut evenly.

Simply glue the table and legs together with the liquid nails letting dry, table side down…for a day before flipping back over.

Next step…putting the painting elves to work. Staining the table would also be adorable. Lastly stencil on a tea kettle to the top of the table. Find this on my Pinterest Board

Santa left this under our tree this year along with an adorable porclain tea set. Gemma absolutely LOVES playing tea party with mom…and it is such a special time for us.

Most tables you find that are on the market are over $100 and I just could not find the perfect “vintage” “crafty” and adorable style to match with Gemma’s Room. Santa definitely nailed it with this gift.

Here’s some cutie photos I took of my girl playing Tea-party today and of the table.
