Modern Farmhouse Easter Table

Easter has never been hosted at my house, but that doesn’t mean I can’t set a great table, just for fun! This year I was trying to add some color to my table and decor by adding some rich blue and pink flowers. If you caught my French Farmhouse Spring Tour, I shared how I added some blue napkins and pink faux peonies to my kitchen. With the Modern Farmhouse Easter Table I decided I wanted to continue that color scheme (and avoid dropping too much dough) for the Spring table. So I re-used my napkins and decided to go for an even more Easter vibes with some simple pink tulips paired in some classic white pitchers.

Now, of course I love to show off my talented friends, so I invited them to come share their Easter links here too so you can stop by and see their always amazing tablescapes. We are trying to keep this a ritual now for every Season or Holiday, so let us know if you enjoy these posts. Be sure to catch their links at the bottom of the page.

So where did I begin with my table top?

I started with some beautiful galvanized chargers that I got on sale over at Pier 1. That’s been my new fav shop lately. I don’t know they seem less gypsy and more farmhouse lately…if you know what I mean lol. Their quality is always great just like those Peonies I shared with my farmhouse tour that seemed so realistic.

The chargers created a brighter feel for the table and then I used my all white dishes (classic), and some pretty glass ware and some greenery. I wanted the table to be filled, but not too busy either. I actually had another entire plan for this place setting and then the more I played around with the table, I ended up with this one.

So let’s take a peak at how this table turned out…

Now, you’re not going to believe this surprising fact….this table is no longer a table!!

I know crazy! Last week we disassembled it because we decided to re-finish our floors. If you’ve been following my instagram stories I’ve been sharing some photos and videos of the progress. The table was also not quite flat either so we decided to re-do the top once the room is all finished. That means, we currently have no dining room table..and no spot for me sit with my computer and blog lol.

I’ve also been thinking maybe about doing a round dining table, love to know what you think?
