My Favorite Things February

I know, I know, I’m a little behind! February 1st was Thursday. I can explain…I had a sick kiddo who needed all my hugs and kisses…and let’s not forget the no sleep from being up with her 3 nights in a row. I know you guys get it…so I wanted to just say no worries it’s still here and I love this series so much that I never want to get rid of it on my blog. I love having the chance to connect and give you all a chance to win a prize picked by me! So, if you’re new here or just need to be refreshed on what the “my favorite things” series is…it’s where my Subscribers get a chance to win this awesome box. It’s a giveaway that runs for one week and it’s as easy as being a subscriber here and commenting below. You can say “hey”, tell me what your favorite piece in the box is, or maybe where you’re going to style it, etc. You do have to be a US resident and that’s it! I would love for you all to also share this month on your social media. If you do share the post to Facebook, tag me in it and you’ll have double the chance at winning (but not required).

  1. How nice would that be! Back in the 60’s, there was lots of macrome everything. Good stuff. The yellow clock is darling and who couldn’t use a spoon holder. Good choices. I am a new subscriber to your blog and have been enjoying your posts. Your style is fresh and easy on the eyes. Keep up the good work.

  2. Glad family is well again.

  8. I am in love with the pot holder. I’m going to hang it in my soon to be newly redid bedroom. I just love following you on social media. Fingers crossed. Glad your baby is feeling better 🙂

  9. I love all the items but my favorite I think is the spoon holder! Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win.

  10. I’m loving the entire box!!! Love the clock, but I collect enamel and the spoon rest would go perfect! Plus…..I just picked up a new plant yesterday that would love to be hanging in my breakfast room! To top it all off….IT’S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!!

  11. Living the macrame plant holder. I inherited many of my mother’s plants and hope to display many of them in my bag window in these ty p of holders.

Hope your family gets rid of the big soon, we had it around way too long.

  12. Having a sick little one is bad, except that it’s the one time I could always count on them wanting to sit on my lap for an extended amount of time. 🙂

  13. I love the spoon holder. So adorable. It would look good in my kitchen. Glad your daughter is on the road to recovery. After you care for a sick one. You need to check into a spa ?

  14. Hard to pick a favorite but I thought no the plant holder. And I thought I might be the only person to miss alarm clocks! Everyone uses their namesphone now

  15. First of all, I am so happy to hear your little one is better! I can’t pick just one of your items…I really love them all!! Macrame coming back…my hippie skirts and now this box….I’m in heaven!!

  16. I love the yellow clock and I need the alarm unfortunately. When you style your bed to be too comfortable that’s the downside, you never want to crawl out!

  17. I love everything in this month’s box but especially the clock. It would be perfect on my bedside table.

  18. I made and sold macrame in the 70’s. Haven’t done any since. Would love another plant hanger without the initial investment and labor……… LOL

  19. I love the clock and the macramé. I wish I’d saved all my macramé things from the 70’s! It sure is popular now – and I even had an owl macramé hanging. My grown children can’t believe I didn’t save such “cool” things!

  20. I definitely would not mind winning that macrame plant holder! I have been meaning to make one to hold a bird feeder made from a small round chicken feeder and a mason jar. But I’d rather win one instead!

    Thanks for offering this giveaway!

  21. Wow, what a gorgeous job you did on that outdated kitchen table! This table definitely lives up to your vision of an old rusty table. I see it resembling an old outdoor bistro table from a cafe in Europe.

Thank you for the opportunity to enter your generous giveaway.

  22. I love the spoon holder. My household can never have enough of them. The plant hanger reminds me of “the good old days” when my plants were hanging to keep up away from the kids.

  23. I have just started refurbing …. i intend to have lots of fresh green plants – thank you for reminding me of those lovely macrame pot holders, perfect for the soothing look i’m aiming for. The sunshine yellow alarm clock is cool too and perfect for upholding ‘no electronics in the bedroom’. Looking forward to furture posts ?

  24. I was married in ’59, so I lived through the ’60s. I had 3 little kiddos and the hubbs to tend to, but I remember the ’60s kindly. I like the clock, also the macrame, and the spoon rest. I can’t remember if there is more, but you can excuse me because at my age, I am lucky to remember my name! I would like very much to win all your vintage items as it would feel like a reunion.
