Hello Friends! Glad you’re back. I apologize for my very slow web page at the moment. I am trying to figure out everything that needs to be done to make it running smoothly again. May have something or everything to do with my hosting, so I am currently having that switched over. I appreciate your dedication and hope that you still hang out for a bit, because I have a very cute and EASY DIY for you all today.

I first want to just give thanks to the Lord for getting me through the frustration and rocky road this week. I have had a slightly overwhelming week and I feel like “someone” has been kicking my butt and bringing me down. I am grateful for the light at the end of the tunnel and knowing that even at troubling times the Lord is getting me through it all. I took a mini break yesterday to just enjoy the small moments with my family and today we are having a wonderful day together as well. Life throws us all curve balls but it is keeping your faith and hope in the Lord to really know that there will be peace and “this too shall pass” (my mom’s favorite quote)

So on to that really simple and easy DIY I was talking about…

This is a perfect fix to that “not-so-pretty” tablescape you created for your guests this Holiday weekend. Napkin Rings! A very pretty way to dress up those linen napkins and even more so an expensive piece to the problem. Lets just say you are having 6+ people at your table and you are buying these for a minimum of $5 that adds up to $30!!!For napkin rings!!!!

So here’s an easy fix…and lets face it they only stay on for about 30 seconds before your guests dig in…no reason to get all expensive here.

Materials

1. Paper Towel Cardboard Roll

2. Craft paper (from your local craft store scrap-booking aisle)

3. Your child’s glue stick (lol)

Once you have all your supplies no need for photo tutorial here…cut paper towel cardboard into 1.5″ rings, cut craft paper to match, and glue to your cardboard using your glue stick. Let dry! and place on your beautiful napkins.

I chose a script font napkin ring that matches nicely with my dining room and even more so with my “french-style” script pillows that are on my couch in the living room. This ties the two rooms together really nicely.
