I love a good ornament project, and I did a tone last year, you can check out on my Youtube Channel. Thanks to Krista from the Happy Housie for including me in this great Christmas Hop! See all the other amazing DIY Christmas ornaments shared below. This year I started with simple since I am still not quite sure of Christmas colors that I am leaning towards. I figured something serene and simple was always a nice go to. This post contains affiliate links that I make a small commission from.
Materials:
- rub n buff
- glass ornaments
- ribbon
- Eucalyptus (faux or real)
First, remove your cap from top of ornament. Be very careful with glass to not cut yourself. The apply rub n buff with finger to the top of ornament to disguise the aluminum cap.
Take your eucalyptus and roll up to push through the ornament. The really dried Eucalyptus leaves were much more difficult, so I opted for my faux ones since they bend much easier. Then I was able to place my feathered Eucalyptus I had in the other ornament a little easier.
Apply the cap to top of Christmas ornament, and then use ribbon to hang. I like the way the black ribbon and brass top look together.
