Straw Hat Gallery Wall
It’s Week 5 ahh, I think I need to get my booty back to work on the One Room Challenge as next week with the reveal week. I kind of slacked off a bit this past week and I had a few things fall through so now I’m left with picking up the pieces and figuring out plan B for the remaining furniture. This week I’m sharing my favorite project we added to the space that added such a statement to the room. It certainly brought the entire space together and I just love this as an option for affordable artwork.
So, I seriously dreamed of this idea and knew it would be perfect to add such a sweet and vintage feel with some texture and warmth to Gemma’s room. Then the next day I found these affordable straw hats over at Target’s dollar spot! Can’t beat that! I picked up some black ribbon and added that to each hat to have them coordinate. What’s fun is that some of the hats are for children and some are for adults so I like the mix of sizes, style, and two shades of straw material.
I arranged them in a gathered collective look to the wall with some picture frame nails in each brim. Super easy, super affordable, and super cute.
Alright you guys, go check out the rest of this week’s Week 5 renovations and lets hope and pray I have a plan to get this room finished for next week!

This turned out so perfect, Deb! It’s absolutely adorable. I love how the black ribbon on the hats works with the black bed.
