I’ve got an easy and unique idea, to start your Christmas decorating. If you haven’t checked out yesterdays post yet, then be sure to head over there. I shared a Thanksgiving Table using seeded eucalyptus, rust colored napkins, and artichoke place settings. I wanted to really be able to transition my decor this year from Fall to Christmas and re-use some Christmas decor from last year. Why not use what you already have on hand? and the artichokes from my Thanksgiving table were just as festive for Christmas as Thanksgiving.
So with a little help from some…
Glitter
and Mod Podge…
These dried artichokes got a new look.
I even had my son help me out with these. Such a easy project your kids could enjoy. Use mod podge or glue, anything that the glitter will stick to.
I chose gold glitter and brushed on the glue and added the glitter only to the tips of the artichoke.
and just a sneak peek of where I placed these…
more to come soon, recognize anything else? I even reused my eucalyptus on my Christmas mantel. Can’t wait to share more with you all this Christmas season. I have multiple tours coming up so this lady is very busy getting this house together with unique Christmas touches on a budget.

Deb I love this idea!!! Great way to reuse an item and definitely a good way to decorate the mantel. Can’t wait to see more.

Thanks Steph! I just love decorating with artichokes and I wanted to find a way to re-use these but also add a little holiday flair.
