I have been a total nut when it comes to selecting outdoor seating for our fireplace patio. If you have been following along on Instagram I’ve shared some details of this space, but we hit a huge halt in the process and we are now nearing the “end’. One of the biggest design decisions I had to make was selecting furniture in the outdoors eating area. Since we are always working on a tight budget I had come up with a seating solution that felt very “French” but for less than $1,000 So, I’ve been going from one website to the next and even looking at local shops to see if I could find something that fits my French aesthetic but for a fraction of the coast of what most “European” style outdoor furniture costs.
Since, I have been looking so much I thought maybe you were on the hunt for something beautiful too as we finish prepping our outdoor spaces for summer. These are a few favorites that I found for less $1,000 and have a French Style to them.
Let’s break down some of the looks and some major inspo. and how we can accomplish this look with much more affordable patio seating.
What is French Style Outdoor Seating?

You can combine these look with white cushions, cabana stripes, detailed piping, and pretty pillows.
I decided on this set for myself and I was very torn because the quality wasn’t so great, but after so much frustration on making a decision I decided to just go for it. It was already on sale and I had some Target points and a gift card on file…so even better. What I loved about this set the most, is that it truly felt like a set that was unique to the market and looked the most like my favorite high end iron sets. I felt it would give me the most “dramatic” effect and it also was a petite item which we needed since our lack of space in the patio required a smaller set. We have not received it yet, so we will see once it arrives and we assemble.
