My five favorite fall decor items

Hello friends I know I’ve got two juicy fall posts for you here today. I hope you don’t mind. Today just happens to be the day my kitchen blog tour is scheduled for and I am sharing our simply home series “fall decorating” post. So, I thought I would make this one super simple for you all and include my top five favorite fall decor items that I am totally into right now. You’ll catch all these looks in our home right now and check out links below on how to include this look in your home.

Top five favorite fall decor items!

  • Gourds
  • Dried Flowers
  • Black contrast
  • Candles
  • Textured throw pillows

I love these dried gourds I found last year while visiting Round Top, Texas. They were a favorite and I found the perfect spot for them this year in this cabinet. I removed some of the drawers and casually placed them around for just the right fall touch.

Loving all the dried florals right now! It’s a great way to still keep flowers in your house for the cozier months, but these will last forever! Add some dried hydrangeas from the garden, I have some Eucalyptus in our house, and pampas grass is a big one too. I shared my favorite pampas grass looks here.

I am truly loving all pops of black in the house too. You can see it throughout our fall tour, even adding just simple touches like with a pile of eggplant is the perfect little bit of black.

Of course candles!!! There is nothing more satisfying then lighting a fall scent to burn in your home. After all I truly believe that creating a home is all about the senses. Touch, look, hear, smell, and taste! Which means I’ve got to start some all baking!
